There’s a lot that happens within a week here. It’s been really nice. Friends, swimming, Deathfest, Angie’s birthday, lots of good food and just really good times. Of course with all this good, something shitty had to happen. Unfortunately it was the cutest sweetest pit bull that received the shit end of the stick.
Before heading to Angie’s sloppy awesome party, Chris, Jake and I went to the Against Me show in Towson. Weird weird town sometimes.  Before Against Me started, there was a crusty walking around the venue with his dog. That alone pisses me off. I always get really frustrated when I see a fucking moron bringing their dog to a show. Or a show that’s at a house and the owner let’s the dog in as a cute party favor. I’m sorry but you guys are jerks. Dogs don’t belong at a show. Punk or not, it’s no place for a dog. That said, this fucker was not only at the show but after it began he brought his dog to the outskirts of the pit.
Once an older song came on and everyone lost their shit, this fucker brings his dog into the pit with him where she  (the dog) was kicked down to the ground while a bunch of kids were tripping over her. What happened next isn’t the point of me writing this, which includes myself hitting the piece of shit in the face with my purse a couple of times and Jake pulling the douche out by his gross ginger dreads. The point is this; if you have a dog, don’t be a dick and bring him/her to a show.
Dogs detect sounds as low as the 16 to 20 Hz frequency range (compared to 20 to 70 Hz for humans) and as high as 70,000 to 100,000 Hz (compared to 20,000 Hz for humans). I know my ears can hurt after a show, I can’t imagine how a dogs head must feel.

Don’t be a douche, leave your dog at home or with a friend, or just don’t see the show.
